Who We Are
We are a parish based swim team open to parishioners of St. John Baptist de la Salle Catholic Church in Granada Hills, California. Our swimmers, age 5-15, receive instruction on the four main individual strokes: Butterfly, Backstroke, Breast stroke and Freestyle. Our goal, in a Christina environment, is to encourage stroke skills, endurance and team building.
We participate in four swim meets sponsored by the San Fernando Valley Catholic Swim League during the months of September thru November. The meets take place at the San Fernando Pool in San Fernando, California
We practice at the Bishop Alemany High School pool in Mission Hills from mid- July thru mid- November.

A message from the Pastor, Father Milbauer:
We ask God's blessing on our St. John Baptist de la Salle Parish Swim Team. It is wonderful that it is a parish team open to all children of the parish who wish to participate.
The healthy competition based on Christian values provides our parish youth with the opportunity for spiritual, physical and social growth. We are happy to support the families and coaches who make many sacrifices for the program.
We pray for continued success of the swim team program.
Our athletic director and coaching staff have many successful years of coaching all ages of swimmers.
